Product description

Various cloud environments with a broad portfolio of features are available in the market today. But integrating each platform individually is time-consuming and expensive. Since cloud services keep changing continuously, the corresponding efforts can rise very fast. Managed Cloud Operating System (MCOS) solves this problem. This efficient, end-to-end solution relieves you of many routine tasks: you no longer need to manage cloud-based virtual servers, the OS lifecycle, updates and patches. Moreover, due to security monitoring and -management, your Windows systems are continuously protected against viruses. You benefit from T-Systems’ standard operational processes, including incident and release management, availability SLAs, monitoring and an international service desk.

Product details

Managed operating systems with a uniform service model (24x7), which are integrated in the operating environment in an automated manner and behave similarly on all cloud platforms.
The service includes monitoring of virtual servers, incident management, provisioning of patches and updates for the operating system, access protection as well as virus testing (for Windows-based systems).
MCOS is available for cloud platforms Open Telekom Cloud (OTC), Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and T-Systems' DSI local (vCloud).
It supports the operating systems Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
